It has become a Birthday tradition to celebrate Lorna’s Birthday every February. Since she already has the day off (she’s 97!) – it’s usually up to the rest of us to book a day away from work to come up-island for a Mappy good time.
This year, we got together for a great breakfast at Beechwood Corner Cafe in Willow Point, just south of Campbell River.
Grandma’s Benny arrived with a candle and there was a special treat (on the house) to follow ().
